Design Guidelines

The School Facilities Commission Design Guidelines were first developed in 2003 and are updated periodically, most recently in 2010. The guidelines are intended to ensure the design and construction of adequate public school facilities, which is defined under Wyoming statute as:
  • Facilities that support the delivery of the educational "Basket of Goods"
  • Facilities that are cost effective
  • Facilities that provide a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and teachers
  • Facilities that have a positive impact on their community and environment
