SFC Adequacy Standards

The School Facilities Commission's Adequacy Standards are used to guide both
capital construction and component level projects (also known as minor capital
projects).  These standards help establish a uniform level of quality for educational facilities across the state.

Per W.S. 21-15-115(a), the uniform standards at minimum shall include:

(i) requirements for educating students in a safe environment including all
applicable building, health, safety, and environmental codes and standards
required by law for all public buildings.

Statutes also require that the Commission conduct a review of its adequacy
standards "not less than once every four years" and suggest  any modifications
to the Select Committee on School Facilities.

For reference, below are documents that have been utilized in assessing, developing
and applying SFC Adequacy Standards.
